    In the App

    • Required:
      • Age (to provide age-appropriate content).
      • Username (a nickname chosen by the user, not their real name).
    • Optional / On Subscription:
      • Parent’s Email Address and Password (for creating and managing a subscription account).
    • Not Collected:
      • We do not collect real names, phone numbers, home addresses, or behavioral tracking data.

    On the Website

    • Teacher/Partner Sign-up:
      • Email Address (for communication and account setup).
  2. How We Use Information

    We use the collected information only for:

    • Delivering educational content and age-appropriate experiences.
    • Managing subscriptions and parental controls.
    • Allowing teachers to access and share educational resources.
    • Displaying contextual (non-personalized) advertisements through Google AdMob.
    • Improving app performance and security.

    We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing or advertising.

  3. Advertising & Google AdMob

    Our app uses Google AdMob to serve ads. To protect children’s privacy:

    • All ads are set to non-personalized (based only on context, not behavior).
    • We use AdMob’s “tag for child-directed treatment” and “under age of consent” settings.
    • No behavioral targeting, remarketing, or tracking is used.
    • Ads are automatically filtered to be age-appropriate.
    • Parents may choose a subscription plan to remove ads entirely.

  4. Children’s Privacy
    • For users under 13 (U.S.) / 16 (EU) / 18 (India), parental consent is required for subscription features.
    • Children can use the app with a nickname only, without providing personally identifiable information.
    • We comply with:
      • COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, U.S.)
      • FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, when used in schools)
      • GDPR and GDPR-K (EU children’s data rules)
      • DPDP Act (India, 2023)
  5. Data Security

    We use encryption, secure servers, and limited access controls to protect your information. In case of a data breach, we will notify parents/teachers and relevant authorities as required by law.

  6. Data Retention
    • Free users: Username and age data are stored locally and may be deleted by uninstalling the app.
    • Subscribers: Parent email and subscription details are retained as long as the account is active. Deleted within 30 days after cancellation.
    • Teachers: Email addresses are kept only while registered.

    Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

    • Access the data we hold about you.
    • Request corrections or deletions.
    • Withdraw consent at any time.

    Parents and teachers can contact us to manage or delete accounts.

    • Aside from Google AdMob (ads) and payment processors (for subscriptions), we do not share data with third parties.

  1. Overview

    Kridemy is a kid-friendly educational platform developed by Sham Insights LLC. It provides a safe, creative, and interactive space for children — including those under 13 years of age — to learn through story-based lessons, quizzes, and comics.

    Teachers can generate, publish, and share educational materials while maintaining a safe and compliant environment for children.

    All features are compliant with Apple’s Kids Category Guidelines and COPPA. Ads shown are contextual and non-personalized under Google AdMob’s Designed for Families program.

  2. Ad Network and Policy Compliance

    We use Google AdMob as the only ad network. Under COPPA and Google’s Designed for Families:

    • All ads for users under 13 are non-personalized.
    • Ads are based purely on contextual relevance (not user data).
    • No violent, adult, gambling, or unsafe ads are allowed.
    • Developers monitor and block inappropriate ads via AdMob tools.
    • Personalized ads and tracking are permanently disabled.
  3. What “Contextual Ads” Mean in Kridemy

    Contextual ads are based only on the content being viewed — not on personal data.

    Examples:

    • A Math lesson may show a math-related app or educational puzzle ad.
    • A Science topic may show a STEM-themed learning toy or video.
  4. Kid-Friendly and Safe Ad Environment
    • Ads are labeled clearly (“Ad” or “Sponsored”).
    • Ads appear only between lessons or at bottom sections.
    • Ads never interrupt learning or gameplay.
    • External links are gated by Parental Gate checks.
    • No manipulative or unsafe ads are allowed.
  5. Developer Responsibility and Manual Review

    Sham Insights LLC takes full responsibility for all ads displayed in Kridemy.

    Our Ad Compliance Officer:

    • Regularly monitors and reviews ads for compliance.
    • Uses AdMob tools to block or report non-compliant ads.
    • Maintains records (screenshots, timestamps, categories).
    • Performs weekly audits and checks before new updates.
  6. Ad Display Rules Inside the App
    • Ads shown only in designated spaces (below comics or between quizzes).
    • No in-app purchases tied to ad engagement.
    • Every external ad link requires Parental Gate verification.
    • Ad frequency is limited to prevent overexposure.

    Kridemy stores minimal data required for gameplay progress:

    • Username and password (no personal details).
    • Gameplay metrics like quiz performance, rewards, etc.
